2D × 51mm Antistatic Nylon Staple Fiber
This product is a modified nylon 6 or nylon 66 staple fiber, enhanced with permanent antistatic agents or conductive components to provide excellent static charge dissipation. The fiber has a fineness of 2 denier (approximately 20–22 microns), making it a fine denier fiber with a soft hand feel that does not easily damage precision surfaces. The cut length is 51mm, balancing spinnability and web forming performance, making it suitable for textiles, nonwovens, brushes, and other applications.
Fineness: 2.0 denier (D), fine denier grade with soft hand feel, ideal for applications involving delicate surfaces.
Length: 51mm, suitable for cotton spinning, wool spinning, nonwoven carding, airlaid web forming, and other processes.
Antistatic Performance: Surface resistance can be controlled within the range of 10⁶ to 10⁹ ohms, effectively preventing static buildup, reducing static discharge, and minimizing dust attraction.
Material: Nylon (PA6 or PA66), offering high abrasion resistance, excellent toughness, good alkali resistance, and superior resilience.
Cross-section Shape: Typically round, with custom profiles (such as trilobal or hollow) available upon request.

Main Applications
Cleanroom Garments and Antistatic Workwear: Suitable for electronics factories, semiconductor plants, biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, and other environments requiring strict electrostatic control. The high abrasion resistance and antistatic properties of nylon effectively reduce the impact of static charge on sensitive components.
Antistatic Brushes: Used for precision electronics assembly, optical lens cleaning, PCB cleaning, and similar applications. The 2D fineness ensures soft bristles that do not scratch surfaces, while the antistatic property prevents dust from being reattracted due to friction-generated static charge.
Antistatic Filtration Media: Applied in industrial filter fabrics or filter cartridges for environments with combustible dust (e.g., flour, chemical dust) to prevent static buildup that could lead to explosions or fires. Nylon also provides good temperature and chemical resistance.
Antistatic Carpets and Automotive Interiors: Used for flooring in computer rooms, electronics workshops, or as surface layers for car seats and carpets. The 51mm length is suitable for spinning or needle-punched nonwoven processes, while the antistatic performance reduces static discharge and dust mite attraction caused by friction.
Antistatic Nonwovens (Wipes, Cleaning Cloths): Designed for wiping static-sensitive items such as probes, instrument housings, and optical lenses. Nylon has slightly higher moisture regain than polyester, and with antistatic modification, it leaves even lower residual static charge during damp wiping.
